Sometimes you have to go about painting like a child, like you know nothing of it and that’s when the magic happens. My paintings are often playful, whimsical worlds of color involving fantastical characters adorned in layers of personal symbolism. They embody themes of resilience, empowerment, seasons, and freedom from struggle. It’s as if poetry could paint; childhood could walk through an adult dream where colors and creatures like spirit animals can bring you a sense of mythology and peace.
